2024 BIPOC CREATORS MICROGRANT RECIPIENTS

The BIPOC Creators Microgrant is a mentorship program for up to 5 new and emerging filmmakers who identify as Black, Indigenous or Person of Colour. This is our third iteration of the Microgrant, which accepted both English and French submissions this year as part of our special 20th anniversary programming.

The selected filmmakers will received a micro-grant of $2,000 to support the creation of a short film under 15 minutes, along with 4 group mentorship sessions with an experienced Director who will provide feedback on their filmmaking process, as well as guidance as they finalize their film. The final films will be screened / premiered at the 2024 Digi60 Filmmakers’ Festival along with a Q&A about their experience.

We are happy to share that the recipients of this years’ Microgrant listed below.
