Location: Club SAW (67 Nicholas St.)
#InkCanada valiant volunteer member-host Jennifer Mulligan invites all inkies available to attend the first live #InkCanada event since March 2020 on Friday December 10, 2021 6-11PM at Club Saw. Please RSVP. (RSVP Link Coming Soon)
#InkDrinks is an open, inclusive, totally casual, warmly social night for screenwriters of all stripes who are members of inkcanada's Canadian Screenwriters & Their Sketchy Friends FB Group, their colleagues and industry friends and writer-allies.
“Our utterly informal aim is to bridge the gaps between writers, disciplines and experiences by taking a break and sharing a beverage together, for a stronger more supportive professional community all 'round. That's it! It's so simple! It's also a lot of fun. Whether you are a student of the craft, exploring writing for film, TV and digital screen arts outside your current profession, or actively supporting screenwriting through the non-writing industry magic you do, you are welcome with us. Please, NO PITCHING; the senior writers and allies are here to relax too!”
*Your tab is your own responsibility. The smiles and strong communities goodwill is free. Please tip generously. If you drink alcohol, DRINK RESPONSIBLY and leave anything that needs to be driven at home. Ottawa's #inkdrinks venue can be reached by Ottawa’s LRT Rideau Station (Club SAW is located at 67 Nicholas St. - please use the Nicholas St. Entrance ONLY).
