In our very first episode of Wallbreakers, we sit down with Kishan Sondagar and Hussain Dawwas, filmmakers within Ottawa's thriving creative community.

Kishan Sondagar is a director at the Greasy Fix Media, a professional videography and photography business. And has received two awards for his film “The Middle Eight” from the 2023 Digi60 Filmmakers’ Festival.

Hussain Dawwas also received two awards as an emerging filmmaker for his entry into the festival, “Watch What You Have”.

Together we kick off the podcast by talking about the fears and struggles we tackle as emerging creatives.

What is WALLBREAKERS?

From one emerging creative to another, the biggest creative block is breaking into a competitive industry. How can we break down those walls and root stable foundation for our passion?

Here at Wallbreakers, we sit down with Canadian artists to chat about the challenges they face in establishing a creative career and advice they have for those who have yet to embark on this journey.
