WORKING WITH THE NATIONAL FILM BOARD (NFB)
with KATE VOLLUM & CHANDA CHEVANNES
Sunday, Dec 18, 2022 - 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: DARC The Loop
This venue requires proof of vaccination and masking.
An informal session introducing filmmakers to the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). Learn how to pitch the NFB’s Ontario Studio, how the Ontario Studio collaborates with filmmakers and the types of projects it supports. This session will help filmmakers have a better understanding of the NFB, but will also help filmmakers to prepare to submit their film projects for programming consideration and for the upcoming Filmmaker’s Assistance Program (April 1 deadline). This workshop will be especially useful for emerging filmmakers working in all genres and filmmakers at all levels working in documentaries. Please come with your questions!
