Deena Alsaweer

Deena Alsaweer is a Fulbright Scholar and award-winning filmmaker. She won Best Screenplay at the 2022 Digi60 Film Festival, directed two shorts, edited one award-winning short, and worked on several award-winning shorts at the 2023 Digi60 Film Festival. Deena also teaches filmmaking at the Ottawa School of Theatre (OST) and is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices.

HASSIB HANI

Hassib Hani is a Lebanese-Canadian who grew up in Ottawa. He is a university graduate from Carleton and UOttawa. He has a passion for filmmaking and creates intense dramas based on his experiences growing up.

JESSIE EDWARDS

Jessie Edwards is a filmmaker born in Quebec, who began acting at a young age. After writing fantasy novels, Jessie transitioned into scriptwriting and began making her own films in 2022. Currently, she is producing a limited series she wrote, as well as a feature film based on her personal experiences of overcoming abuse. Passionate about creativity, Jessie regularly participates in film festivals and challenges, which inspire her to continually create new films.

KISHAN SONDAGAR

Kishan Sondagar is a video director and emerging filmmaker fueled by his passion for motorsports. Combining creativity with hands-on industry experience, he produces high-quality visuals that captivate and engage. Embracing the philosophy of 'being comfortable in the uncomfortable,' Kishan is committed to telling stories that leave a lasting impact and genuinely connect with audiences.
